Amanda & I go waaaay back- like almost 10 years ago back (that's crazy to think about now that were both in our 30s) Were both still living our best elder emo adult lives as we should be. Here's an embarrassing photo of us circa 2013 (Amanda is on the left) Apparently, my husband was too nice to tell me how hideous my glasses were. Why bro? Why didn't you tell me?!
Over the years, its taken a lot of time & effort to find who I was as a photographer. I'm truly humbled & honored that Amanda chose me as her wedding photographer. She's seen my journey of how I became the alternative wedding photographer I am today, & I'm so thankful that after all these years she's stuck by my side.
I was SOOO excited to help create this engagement session with Amanda! I knew she would have a vision for what she wanted & I was thrilled to make it come to life. Its giving all the alternative, ethereal, romantic, dark fantasy vibes. My creative cup was overflooooooowing the whole time we were shooting, it was so magical & full of chemistry.
We decided on the Maremac Spring in St James, MO as the location. It delivered everything we needing to make this session come to life. The lush greenery was beautiful paired with their first outfit & the old building we found for the second outfit with the oil lamps couldn't have BEEN (que Chandler Bing) any more perfect!
